Class Description:

Technique/ Rocknroll Ballet
Level: Open to all

For those that think ballet is no fun, for those that secretly think ballet is a lot of fun, and for those that don't know a changement from a soubresaut.

Open to all levels this class is a time to enjoy the physicality and freedom found in ballet without worrying about an illusion of perfection that does not reflect our needs. Emphasis is on ease of motion, joy, sharpness, jumps, and turns. As contemporary dancers we'll practice ballet like a martial artist practices her forms, in order to find freedom in the form. We'll rock out and fly!

i spent most of last year and this spring in Europe teaching and performing. upcoming projects include i love this song can you tell me the name of this song and yr really good at dancing. i only took the first class of ballet and it’s knda hard!:) with annie dorsen at the theater for one booth in times square and a summer solstice judson showing of the death metal swan lake waterfalls with euro friends minna kipper, susanna liebovici, and valentina desideri.
