Elizabeth Ward

rock and roll ballet aka use everything you know
wednesdays 7:15 - 9:15, April 13 - 27 at Rod Rodgers

Using the system of ballet and dancing together our ballet unfolds. Traveling through an inner state of awareness, mediated by closed eyed dancing, we seek a ballet where the dominate cultural aesthetics of right and wrong dissolve as the sheer joy of movement prevails. We'll practice ballet like a martial artist practices her forms; in order to find freedom in the form. Everything we know of the system of ballet, whatever our background, is available to us as we work through and around the system, dancing our ballet together.
