Melanie Maar

Saturday Workshop: May 9th 1-4pm

practicing being and seeing - performance

In this session I plan to guide a practice about relating inner/outer seeing and being within the context of performance. Of choreography. Of a communal situation in an assembly hall expanding into a dance space. We will work with our questions, with principles of sensory/perceptive dynamics, with object/sound activation, moving between realms, talking and partner work. I approach the somatic, artistic and psychic as a synergetic experience. The practice is a quest to expand our individual possibilities of relating within our artistic and collective environment. A quest to explore whats there to share.

This session is for professional performers within the areas of movement and sound.
