CLASS DESCRIPTION

Follow the Feeling

In these sessions we will focus on performance as practice and process as a series of negotiations with ourselves and each other. Beginning ‘before we’re ready’ we will allow for, even encourage, not knowing what we’re doing so we can heartily engage with what might not be easily expressed, not clearly understood, as well as the contradictions and ambiguity amongst the terrain of performing and felt experience. Through a layering process of our own and other’s diverse materials we will move toward our highly personal and individual ways of organizing our thoughts, actions and the residue of our days, desires and dreams. Each session will begin with warmly welcoming ourselves there.
